Position Purpose
The Procurement Analyst provides support to the procurement organization with a focus on analysis, reporting and measurement to ensure that business and team targets are on track & achieved. Associate will deliver insightful & actionable analysis (i.e. such as spend analytics, benchmarking etc.) in relation to internal & external data analysis to help in making informed business decisions in addition to ensuring compliance with all procurement policies, procedures and processes.
Principal Responsibilities
· Management of all key financial data directly linked to Procurement activity
· Market analysis for specific categories and commodities to identify supplier activity, price, performance etc.
· Analysis of past expenditure & potential future demands to help identify procurement opportunities
· Support procurement activity through the development of cost analysis breakdowns, modelling and tender response analysis
· Support budgeting and planning for all forecasted cost savings
· Monitoring and analyzing supplier performance against contracted pricing schedules, KPIs, cost saving targets and rebates etc.
· Design and implement effective reports and controls for all phases of procurement activity
· Driving best practice and compliance by building business unit spend compliance and analysis reports
· Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
· Provide training to internal & external stakeholders on the procurement policies, procedures and processes
· Explore opportunities for developing templates for making procurement processes more effective and efficient
· Maintains awareness and inform the internal stakeholders about new products, trends and developments in the fields related to area of assignment; incorporates new developments as appropriate; ensures processes, policies and practices are interpreted and applied consistently and effectively.
· Keep all the procurement manual and processes up to date in consultation with Procurement Leadership Team.
· Support procurement team in managing and executing S2P/P2P process for low value procurement
· Coordinate with Procurement Leadership Team and System Support Analyst for implementation of procurement systems
· Any other responsibility in lieu of business support, analysis or reporting.

Experience
· Proven experience in an analytical role that requires interpreting the analyzed data and providing insight, ideally regarding contract performance or procurement spend
· Previous exposure to working within a contract / procurement function is highly desirable
· Ability to approach and engage with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
· In depth knowledge of Procurement and supply chain process and software systems
· High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analytics tools.
Education/Qualification Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences/engineering
· 3+ years related experience
