| Job Description: |
- Expect to manage financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting etc
- Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Prepare payment/ receipt vouchers journal entries.
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
- Ensure compliance with the taxations and corporate laws.
- Support head of department in ensuring that intercompany transactions are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy.
- Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.
- Preparation of cash and bank reconciliations, fixed asset activity, accounts payable/ receivable reconciliations.
Other Skills:
- In depth understanding of business processes, should be clear about chart of accounts.
- Should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- Working experience in SAP/ERP is highly regarded.
- Familiarity in accounting best practices and rules and regulations of applicable accounting standards in Pakistan
